Six-Pence Flower Applique

This is an intermediate level pattern written in US Crochet Terms.

Materials needed:

Any size crochet hook

Any size thread or yarn

Tapestry Needle

Scissors

Stitch Legend:

Ch – Chain

SC – Single Crochet

Sl St – Slip Stitch

Trbl – Treble Crochet

St – Stitch

Sts - Stitches

* – Repeat instructions between *’s

Round 1:  Ch 6, Sl St to 1^st Ch to join

Round 2:  Ch 1, 12 SC into the ring, Sl St to 1^st SC to join (12 SC)

Round 3:  *Ch 3, in next St 3 Trbl, Ch 3, Sl St into next SC, Repeat from * around for a total of 6 petals, Sl St into last SC, Ch 1 & Fasten off.

Use the tapestry needle to weave in all ends to secure & cut excess yarn or thread.

FLOWER

Pretty Flowers Applique

Begin with a Mgc Rng, *Ch 3, 4 Trbl, Ch 3, Sl St back into ring, Repeat from * 4 more times, for a total of 5 petals, pull thread or yarn tail to close, Ch 1 & fasten off.

Weave in your ends using the tapestry needle to secure & cut excess thread or yarn.
